IBC SOLAR becomes a member of SolarPower Europe

Membership underlines the need for expansion of solar energy

Bad Staffelstein / Germany, January 27, 2020 – IBC SOLAR AG, a global leader in photovoltaic (PV) systems and energy storage has become a member of SolarPower Europe, the European solar PV association. As a member-led association that represents almost 40 countries in Europe and beyond, it provides a unique network for companies and organisations active across the entire solar value chain.

As a pioneer in the solar industry, IBC SOLAR has been driving decentralised power generation for many years and is committed to the further expansion and development of better framework conditions for solar energy. As a member of SolarPower Europe, IBC SOLAR, along with the association’s more than 200 members, aims to support the realisation of a sustainable and intelligent renewable energy system. The objective of SolarPower Europe is not only to position solar energy as the leading technology for renewables, but also to help deliver climate targets set by the EU before 2050.

In addition to membership in the SolarPower Europe association, IBC SOLAR is also a member of the Global Solar Council, the BDEW (Federal Association of Energy and Water Management) and BSW-Solar (Federal Association of Solar Industry). By joining SolarPower Europe, the company is strengthening its commitment to making solar a leading energy technology.
