IBC SOLAR SA: Strengthens its presence at African Trade Shows in 2022

Cape Town, South Africa, July 21, 2022 - IBC SOLAR, a subsidiary of IBC SOLAR, a leading full-service provider of SOLAR energy solutions, have continued their participation at Trade Shows in Africa in 2022 after having a pause due to the pandemic in 2020-2021. IBC SOLAR will show up at the Solar Show Africa in Johannesburg representing the new strategy in Residential and Commercial PV Business. Celebrating its 40 years anniversary the company will show up with a brand new sustainable booth concept.

IBC SOLAR SA will also increase their presence this year at Solar Show Africa 2022, 23-24 August 2022, with a larger custom stand, showcasing residential and commercial storage solutions. In addition, the company is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and is underscoring its strong focus on sustainability. “Our focus on integrated systems with PV and storage solutions will remain the theme for 2022’s shows”, says Daniel Haitzler, Managing Director of IBC SOLAR South Africa. “Providing South Africans with solutions for load shedding and power insecurity is our goal. We have been working very successfully with the local battery manufacturer SolarMD in this respect, which products have been in our portfolio since April 2019 and of course will be also shown on our stand this year.” In addition, high voltage commercial storage systems have become increasingly popular in the African market, where SolarMD offers comprehensive product solutions.

Among the products that will be seen at the IBC SOLAR stand will be the SMA EV Charger 7.4 which enables PV system operators to charge their electric vehicles in an intelligent and sustainable manor. Next to their own high quality IBC SOLAR products, the company will also showcase a wide variety of other products from top brands such as Longi, BYD, Fronius, Victron and GoodWe.

IBC SOLAR SA plans to continue its presence at trade shows this year. To mark its 40th anniversary, IBC SOLAR is introducing a new look and extended concepts in the residential and commercial business areas. The topic of sustainability will also be a high priority at the IBC SOLAR stands this year.
